***TRAINED RETRIEVE TRAINING – TRAIN THE TRAINER (HANDLER)***
Brent has trained hundreds of dogs and their handlers in force fetch retrieving. The handler will be trained with their dog in the class on the techniques and will practice them at home with their dog between classes.
Starts: Next available class. Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 10am and runs thru March. We will meet most Saturdays. Class is designed to teach the handler how to train their dog. I’m here to help & guide you on this task. We will start indoors and will finish up outdoors in March, weather dependent.
Materials the handler needs to have besides the dog: flat collar, short 18″-24″ leash, e-collar (preferably a Garmin Pro 550 or 550 plus, but can work with other systems). Retrieving bucks and dead birds for retrieving will be provided.
Spots are limited. Fee is $50 deposit to hold your spot and $200 payable at/by 1st class. All classes held at Drumming Wood Kennel, 5045 Lone Elm Rd, Junction City, WI.
